Day 2: Where You’d Like To Be in 10 Years

Plans for Future are as follows!

In ten years, I’ll be basically 30, so I would hope to have a lot accomplished.

In terms of my career, I would LOVE to be working in Public Relations. The way I see it I’m either working directly with a sports team, let’s say the Los Angeles Clippers, as their director of PR. Meeting with the press before and after games, traveling to all the basketball cities of America for games, working with all the top players, attending All Star weekend with my All Star players and truly living in the world of Sports PR. Or I am working as a special events publicist, meaning I would be working directly with top events like movie premieres, festivals, exclusive parties and all that jazz! Of course, it’s going to take a lot of hard work to get to one of the dream jobs but working is hard is something I have done my whole life and I don’t see myself choosing to stop any time soon.

In terms of where I am living, hopefully a big city. I would love to stay in New York. I love New York, the rhythm, the pace and the beat, the people and the culture. The way I want to live is very fast and I feel as though New York is the right space for me.

My love life. I would love to either be about to get married to the love of my life or have been married for maybe a couple of years now to the person I am going to spend my life with. I would have hope that though the past few years of kissing complete frogs, that I finally found my prince. Finding the person I want to spend the rest of my life with will very important to me during those 10 years. Being with the person hopefully brings peace, love and joy. I hope that if I do have children, that I am the best mother I can be and show them nothing but unconditional love like my mother has done with me.

Lastly, I hope that 10 years from now I finally am able to truly love being myself. It gets hard every now and then for me to understand all that I am worth and all that I have to offer. Despite people never being able to truly appreciate me, I hope that 10 years from now I am able to truly appreciate myself. I hope that I have reached a place in my life where I just take life day by day and learn to be grateful for everything that God has been faithful with in my life.

10 years from now, I plan to be in a place of bliss and nothing less than that!
